We suggest a Basic Package as the starting point for your family's amazing journey. *This package is based on 1.5-2 hours of conversation between Steve and the individual sharing their stories. The Basic Package provides you with three hard cover collections (journals) for you and your family to enjoy and share. Along with this, we provide you with the edited text document exactly as it appears within the pages of the hard cover collections. This document will be e-mailed to you in digital form as part of the package. It can also be saved to a CD and mailed along with the hardcover journals if e-mail is not an option.

Pricing:

• In general Basic Packages are offered at a rate of $50 per billable hour of service. Travel time as well as the initial meeting with the client are not considered to be a billable service.
• Collected Roots does include time spent with the storyteller as a billable service.
• As a guide, fifteen minutes of steady conversation will require approximately two hours of service in order to transcribe, edit, format, and bind.
• Collected Roots has discovered that no two clients have shared the same needs or desires. Because of this, to list a "flat rate" has proven to be inaccurate as well as inappropriate.
• Collected Roots will provide a quote to the client as soon as the scope of work has been agreed upon.
• A 1/3 deposit is collected after meeting directly with the client. The remainder is collected before the hardcover journals are mailed.
• Additional hard cover collections may be purchased at   $45 per copy.
• Customized packages may be designed to fit your particular needs. Pricing for customized packages will be determined based on the level of involvement required.
• Payment methods: Cash or Check made out to Collected Roots, LLC.

  * In most situations, two hours of conversation can be obtained in one sitting. If this is not possible, Collected Roots will schedule an alternative time to meet with the individual again.
